Nelson Weather Stations

In partnership with the Nelson Rowing Club, Kootenay Lake Sailing Association installed a Tempest Weather Station at the Prestige Marina in 2022 to provide more accurate weather and wind data to lake users. A second Tempest Weather Station was installed North of the Big Orange Bridge with support from a Columbia Basin Trust ReDi grant in the summer of 2023.
